Alysson is one of the directors of SABIA. I lived in the UK for nearly 10 years. Whilst living in London one cold soggy winter morning I saw an ad for working in "sunny" Israel on a moshav. It seemed perfect to get away from the moving sardine tin called the Tube. Two weeks later I found myself on a farm not far from the Egyptian border in the desert near Bersheba. On arrival we were set to work weeding a greenhouse. In the subsequent 4 months I planted, picked and packed flowers. I also learnt how to drive a tractor and fell in love with Charlie a spaniel who became my shadow. I've been lucky to travel some of the world and one of the places has included Angor Wat in Cambodia, where the picture was taken. A truly breath taking monument to mans's ingenuity. |
