You’re getting married and having a small intimate wedding with only family and close friends in attendance. What should you say if people ask whether they are invited – and they’re not?
Be gracious. Explain that you and your fiancé have made the decision for a small intimate wedding and as much as you would love a larger crowd a smaller gathering is more intimate. You could elaborate by mentioning budget constraints, large family, venue size.
Thank them for wanting to be a part of your special day and mention you will email them a picture of the wedding. Keep a record and do it at the same time you send out thank you cards.
